READING ROOM - BOOK REVIEWS! We are thrilled to welcome new staff book reviewers Season Harper and Tray Forrester, who are hard at work on Issue #7. With them, we are also welcoming an array of guest reviewers represented in this issue by Laura M. Schneider and Katerie Prior. Under the guiding hand of our managing editor, these bright and brainy folks will provide a new selection of book reviews and exciting previews for you in June and in issues to come.
New Lit Pot Agreements Effective June 1st, Lit Pot will be requiring contracts from its writers and artists. This is protection for both them and us. It's also a sign of the fact that Lit Pot is growing, and the world is taking it seriously. So, we have to gear up accordingly. A sample of said agreement can be found at the top of the new Guidelines.
I'll be catching up on past acceptances (not yet published) this coming month, so if you have a piece waiting to be published, your contract will be there soon!

The second edition of 2003 is at the printer! It's beautiful and you should have one!
As promised, we're producing our second year of anthologies for your reading pleasure, but we can't do it without your support. We need marketing, distribution, and better ways of bringing you the best literature available, but it all takes money. The wonderful sponsorship of Levenger has made beginnings possible, but we are growing fast and need additional help--your help.
We have brought the prices down by adding postage to each order instead of adding a
percentage to the total order, and by breaking out domestic postage from foreign postage
which is high indeed. The 'construction' of the prices make it look more expensive, but
please remember these prices INCLUDE POSTAGE.
Single copies available! Don't miss it.
ORDER NOW,
ALL BOOK EARNINGS GO TO THE FUND FOR PAYING STIPENDS TO WRITERS AND GRAPHIC ARTISTS. WE ARE A NON PROFIT CORPORATION SUPPORTED BY SPONSORSHIP FUNDS FROM LEVENGER, WHICH COVERS THE COSTS OF OUR BEAUTIFUL QUARTERLY PRINT ANTHOLOGIES AND POSTAGE. WE NEED YOU TO SUPPORT THE ONLINE WEBSITE COSTS.
DON'T MISS OUR LATEST NEW BOOK!
THIS RARE EARTH & OTHER FLIGHTS - Lit Pot Press, Inc. is extremely proud to present the poetry collection of a jubilant writer, Tom Sheehan.
This widely-published, award-winning master has the uncanny ability to lift the reader to heights of euphoria with language so rich that it's rapturous. His ground of being and sensibility is joyous aliveness, with a profound regard for those who have been lost to him.
Shipping in June, get your order in now! Order the 2nd in the LP Poetry Series here!
OTHER BOOKS TO MAKE US PROUD
DEBUTS - The second book to come off the Lit Pot Press, Inc. press, the fabulous book of works by twenty new writers is also available now, at the low price
of $8.95. This little jewel is a wonderfully splendid tribute to the talents of folks
published for the first time in Literary Potpourri, in 2002. Support Lit Pot and give yourself a treat.
THE CARRINGTON MONOLOGUES - The premier book of the Literary Potpourri Poetry Series kicked off a brand new, non-profit California small press, Lit Pot Press, Inc. Written by Terri Brown-Davidson, a brilliant diva, The Carrington Monologues is a book-length series of poems about Dora Carrington--sizzingly sexy, imaginative, shocking and a glorious piece of literature.
I urge you to buy a copy and see for yourself. See the Press
