cooing encouragement
to this severed vessel
fulfilling with echoes of melodies
pure
clear
danceable
taking my wounded wings
in tender
ministrations
of care and sweet adoration
rehabilitating the
relinquished
restorative murmurings
ushering healing
you
returned to me
the wings of flight
long left useless and
abandoned
stored in the cage of yesterdays dreams
long since
shattered
perched precariously,
I
leap...
