Editor's Notes
December 2002 ISSUE #13
Joyous Holidays to You!
Happy Anniversary To Us!
WE'RE MAKING CHANGES
Starting with the January 2003 Issue, you are going to see some changes. Our new year's
resolution is to whittle off the fat, and make Lit Pot a leaner, meaner streamlined
journal, with fewer pieces and more quality. This means that we're upping the bar for
acceptances but still offering our potpourri of promising plus professional work.
Anthologies are in the midst of some redesign, and more will be announced later.
Guidelines have been altered; check them out.
ANTHOLOGY #4
The fourth anthology of our first year is going to be a big, fat, wonderful one, (395 pages) as it carries four months of work (Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec) instead of the usual three, to get us back
on a calendar year, since the zine started in Dec. 2001.
We are working to get it out 'earlier' than usual, so that it's available for Christmas. Get your orders in now! (Money always greases the wheels of production, as you know.)
ORDER NOW,
ALL PROFITS GO TO THE FUND FOR PAYING STIPENDS TO WRITERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS.
THE CARRINGTON MONOLOGUES
The premier book of the Literary Potpourri Poetry Series kicked off a brand new, non-profit California small press, Lit Pot Press, Inc. Written by Terri Brown-Davidson, a brilliant diva, The Carrington Monologues is a book-length series of poems about Dora Carrington--sizzingly sexy, imaginative, shocking and a glorious piece of literature.

DECEMBER ISSUE
To celebrate our first anniversary, we've given you a whopping huge December issue.
I'm not even going to elaborate on the details, as I want to encourage you to check
it all out. We've got two more debut stories from first published writers, as well
as our usual team of pros, and with all that holiday time, you'll read every one.
Hope you enjoy it!
Don't forget to sign up for our 30-second newsletter. (The shortest newsletter on the web!) It will remind you when new material is being published, and you don't want to miss an issue!
Thankfully yours,
