We are proud to Announce:

THE LITERARY POTPOURRI POETRY SERIES,
published by Lit Pot Press, Inc., a non profit organization.
Exceptional print poetry collections will be sold,
sampled and reviewed in this Salon for poetry lovers.

Our first collection will be available mid-September.

A great artist. A "decorative trifle." A monogamous woman or scandalously promiscuous? Homosexual bait. An artist of the '30's, Dora Carrington's struggles are intensely contemporary, her battles with friends, lovers, critics, both personal and political. Discover the secret behind the pre-book buzz. The Carrington Monologues, a book-length poem by Terri Brown-Davidson, will be available in quality paperback in mid September. See Interview with Ms. Brown-Davidson by Jim Boring.

Excerpt from
The Carrington Monologues

Carrington: My Menage à Quatre

I incline my head, accept his salute,
recall Gerald from last night, the double-fudge cake
lovely as a truffle, decadent as his fetishes,
the stiff whirls of vivid pink roses atop it.
I devoured each rose right there as they observed me,
scooped each of the four atop a finger, licked it off lingeringly,
Mark laughing sourly, Gerald flushing like a dowager,
Ralph glowering forever, his countenance a dappling red
as if his pores'd been bee-stung,
Lytton gazing on, his brim-crushed tophat
sagging in both hands.
It wasn't my birthday. Just an occasion for random joy.
All these men simply love me, atop sheets or on the floor.
